  1. Stand out from the rest of the affiliates promoting the same product as you

It is most probably unlikely that you are the only person in the world promoting your product.  Similarly, with any retail business, you can find the same item in many shops.  So what makes you buy an item from a particular shop as opposed to another shop?  Your answer may be one or more of the following:

  • Previously bought from there
  • Good customer experience
  • Shop has a good reputation
  • Great value for money

So by thinking about that question, you too need to distinguish yourself from those other affiliates. You need to do something different that makes people buy from you rather than another affiliate.
